Be sure you get off the water taxi at the village muelle (pier) on the south side of the bay, and not at the larger pier on the north side or on the beach.
As you approach the pier, scan the shoreline. About 5 doors down from the pier toward the open ocean you'll see a large, white two-story palapa (palm thatched roof house), with a mural-painted water tower to the right of it. That is where I live, at the Casa Sirena (Mermaid). Next door you'll see an orange brick wall around a patio. That is the Casa America.

There are frequently either mozos (porters) or kids hanging around the pier who will offer to help you with your bags. They will expect the standard tip of 20 pesos per bag, carried to Casa America, and they will guide you straight there.

If you prefer to carry your own bags, find your way from the pier to the main trail through town, head west, and you will pass a restaurant called Pollo Bollo, then one called Las Brisas, then you will pass a boxy little convenience store, all on your left. After walking down an incline under a giant tree, you will pass a very small beach on your right that has several kayaks stacked around it. There is a house on either side of the beach entrance. Casa Sirena is the house on the left, and has a good sign.
First try pushing the top half of the door to Casa America open . If it is unlocked, let your self in and someone will come over later to collect the balance of the rent. There will be a key on an orange cord on the kitchen counter.
Or You can drop off your bags and come over to Casa Sirena and I will check you in.
If you need to call me from PV you can call 209-5169 , which is a local call. If it is busy I am probably on the internet. I do not have a cell phone.
